Here's what the humans have to say about me:
7/2/16 - IVE BEEN ADOPTED!
Adoption Fee: $375
Fostered in Louisiana
Age: 4 years
Weight: 5 lbs.
5/23/16 - I, Jasper, take you, to be my owner(s). To have and to hold, from this day forward; for better, for worse; for richer, for poorer; in sickness and in health; to love and to cherish; as long as we all shall live. Thought I'd make it formal this time with a marriage contract and vows since my last owners did not take the bond of human/pet so seriously and turned me into the local shelter. I lucked out though because the shelter called Yorkie Haven Rescue and one of their awesome foster moms ran right over and got me.
I have to admit, I was a little shy at first, but have opened up now. There are other pups in my foster home to play with and I do love playing with them. So, a house with other small pups to play with would be ideal. I sleep good during the night and will bark in the morning when I am ready to get up. Kinda like an alarm clock, but on my schedule. Lol
I’m a hearty eater. I love all people, love playing with toys and am doing pretty good on my potty habits. I go outside each time brought and hold it as long as I’m not left too long. I do like exploring outside as long as you are with me. But, once you turn to go back in, I’m coming with you. I love sitting in laps and being held or just sitting with you on the sofa giving kisses. I do have a high-pitched bark which I use to get attention, affection, when I want to play, and to talk to the other dogs. Normal household noises don’t scare me, but since I was probably handled rough, I am still a little timid when you go to pick me up and will submissive tinkle at times.
I can be cocky when playing, but since I’m such a wee one, I just have to act as if I can handle my own. I take medicine well. I wouldn’t consider myself clingy, but I do crave attention and if you start petting me, then I don’t want you to stop. I must admit, I do love me some belly rubs. My bad traits? I am very scared of bad weather, but if you get me a thunder shirt, that helps a little. So does just holding me. Haha. I can also be a little snippy when you are doing something that I don’t like, i.e., messing with my face or just being annoying in any way. I’m sure this will get better with time, but us small ones seem to have the biggest Napoleon complexes. They did muzzle me at the vet because I was trying to let them know who was boss. Well, we see how that turned out. Hence the muzzle.
I'd make a great addition to any family, so click on adoption application, fill out the app, and let's recite our vows and make it official.
