This handsome sweetheart is one amazing cat, he certainly deserves the singular title, The Dude! Remarkably, he was actually rescued from a traditional high-kill shelter by our Community Cats program, and originally slated for our feral Cats at Work program. After only two days at our Bucktown location boarding facility, however, it became very apparent that this was no feral cat. Though initial scared and stressed from all the recent changes in his life, this guy opened up and his true colors shown very quickly! The Dude is a very sweet, loving, curious cat who just needs a nice calm acclimation period once he gets to his new home. He literally throws himself head first into all pets and TLC sessions, very assertively seeking love and affection. Found on the streets originally, it is probable that he is pretty used to being around other cats, though we’ll have a better idea once he starts to explore the room more here. Please check with a counselor for updates on his cat-savviness!
