Imagine the shelter director's Monday morning surprise when he found Ronan and his brother Milo dumped over the fence at a high kill city shelter overnight: two little dachshund-mix brothers as cute and spunky as can be, no idea that they were in any danger at all. Thank goodness we found them before their time was up, and now the brothers have been fostered in a loving family with kids and dogs, and have been making everyone laugh all the time with their silly puppy antics! His foster mom writes:
"Ronan just likes to play . . . and play and play all the time!! At this age he is all about playing, chasing, tumbling with his brother, and playing with his foster sisters and brother. They all do really well together. He loves to tackle the other dogs and run around in circles as fast as he can! And he's a practical joker, too: he finds a stick, picks up one end so the other end dangles out of his mouth and gets his brother duped into a game of "Keep Away"! He's definitely the comedian of the two boys!"
We think Ronan is about 14 - 16 weeks old, he weighs about 15 pounds and he's a very healthy boy. He looks like a Doxie mixed with something else small and we're pretty certain he'll be on the smaller side of medium, or the larger side of small when he's fully grown.
