Hello- my name is Bubba. I am 7 year old Jack Russell Terrier Mix and weigh about 30 pounds. I am looking for a new home because my owner was diagnosed with a medical condition that required her to move to an assisted living facility and she couldn't take me with her.
I am crate trained. I have lots of energy, so a nice fenced in yard would be perfect for me. I do ok with other dogs (but will need time to get adjusted to them), but would prefer to be the only dog in the house (so that I can get all of the attention!). I've never bitten anybody, but small children make me anxious so a household with all members 12 years or older would be best for me. It takes me a few minutes to warm up to people (because I have always had the same owner and didn't see a lot of strange faces) but once I do warm up, I absolutely love belly rubs (they are my favorite). I need to work on my leash manners but I'm getting better at it.
I am neutered, UTD on all vaccines, microchipped, heartworm negative, and am currently on heartworm prevention and flea and tick prevention. I would make a great addition to the right family. If interested, please apply at fchsnc.org.
