Sally's Story...
Sally is definitely part Border Collie. She loves to crouch and stalk when playing. She is approximately 15 lbs and is guessed to be between 1-2 years of age. Her foster Mom says she has really opened up since she got her and she enjoys playing with the other dogs in the home, both big and small. She would love to be in a home with other dogs but truly craves human affection and love. She is very sweet and cuddly and loves sleeping in bed with foster Mom. Foster Mom works at an animal hospital and she loves to go to work with her. She enjoys a gentle grooming and even enjoys a cute sweater on a chilly day.

Sally is up to date on vaccinations, spayed, microchipped, and heartworm negative. If you are interested in meeting her, please contact us at kcpetfinder@hotmail.com. Her adoption fee is $175. She can't wait to meet you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sally, a Overland Park Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Overland Park, or seeking a Border Collie dog from a breeder in Overland Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Overland Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Overland Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Overland Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
