Meet Brownie, a beautiful Hound mix, approximately 3 years old, and weighing 40+ pounds. Brownie was surrendered to the shelter along with 3 other dogs. She was very scared at the kennel but in her foster home she is more relaxed. She is a good houseguest, too, as she is housetrained but she will need some work on her leash training.
When it was time to go to sleep at the kennel, Brownie would be allowed to pick a stuffed toy out of the basket. She would carefully choose a stuffed animal, and lovingly cuddle with it all night. Now that she is in a foster home, Brownie likes sleeping on the dog bed next to her foster mom's bed & she sleeps all night with no problems. She has even slept ON the bed with her foster parents - she loves her foster family, especially the daughter & mom.
If you want to meet Brownie go to EHRDOGS.ORG and submit an application. Don't forget to ask for BROWNIE BEAUFORT!!!
