Here's what the humans have to say about me:
He’s a lover and a fighter…but only of the “play fight” variety these days! 2 year old Jonah was found on the streets in bad shape. AnimaLovers found him and treated his injuries, and now he’s busy learning how to be a housecat. He’s turned his ample street smarts on the toys and roommates in his foster home: he sprints, jumps up, nibbles and play “attacks” - all in good fun! The next moment he’ll cuddle up by your side and turn on his extra loud purr to let you know how content he is. Either way, he demands attention. He’ll run to the door when you get home, and supervise all of your activities, preferably from somewhere up high. He’s had a brief interaction with a dog and did fine, but he hasn’t spent time around other cats in a home. Jonah is FIV positive, which causes a weakening of the immune system in cats. It's often compared to human HIV, but FIV is not transferable to humans or other species. It is also difficult to transfer to other sterilized cats. If kept indoors in a stress-free environment, with regular medical care and high-quality nutrition, most FIV+ cats live long and healthy lives.
