My name is Forrest!

Border Collie Mix Dog for adoption in Tempe, Arizona - Forrest

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Forrest's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Forrest's Story...
Forrest is a really nice pup who is ready for another "do over" in his life. He came to us frightened of the world and people. Forrest loves to romp and play with all his extended canine family here so it will probably be a must that his new home have another dog. Forrest would also shine with kids in the family - just so they are old enough to understand some patience with his timidness. Forrest will seek attention in the house and outdoors which I reward with some easy rough housing and belly rubs. He is learning basic dogs skills - he comes to his name and will sit for a treat. Forrest is looking for a home that has love and understanding....and toys - got to have toys!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Forrest, a Tempe Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Tempe, or seeking a Border Collie dog from a breeder in Tempe.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tempe already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tempe breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tempe paves the way for another one to be saved.
