Eight-year-old Brownie loves everyone, but a ball is the bomb! He is good with dogs, cats and kids. He walks nicely on a leash and will sit to be petted all day.
However, he suffers from severe separation anxiety. We have started him on meds and are hoping they help him, but he can be destructive and should not be left alone.
Here are some possibilities that would be suitable for him: A family with close relatives or neighbors who can dog sit when needed. An assisted living facility looking for a resident dog where people are always present. A family with a live-in housekeeper. Someone needing a service dog so he can accompany them everywhere.
Brownie is a special case. Please share him and let's find his perfect home!
If you are interested in adopting Brownie and are an approved home, please contact Jeanine or Lynette, or send us a private message on Facebook. If you are not yet approved and live in Southwest or Central Florida, please go to www.grrswf.org and fill out an application. Thank you!
