Vance was a stray who was brought to AC PAW by a caring gentleman who was c oncerned for his welfare. Vance was emaciated, had an infected eye, and was very beat up. Upon arrival at AC PAW, Vance was combo tested and revealed he was Feline Leukemia Positive. Feline Leukemia is not a death sentence for a cat, especially an adult cat. They can live a very good quality life. A diet to support their immune system is very important.
Vance has been in a foster home and is doing very well. His foster mom says he is a gentle and loving soul. Vance would need to go to a home as either an only cat or he can also be with other cats who have also tested positive for feline leukemia. If you'd like to find out more about Vance or about Feline Leukemia, please contact AC PAW by filling out a pre adoption questionnaire.
If you are interested in adopting this AC PAW pet or would like to set up a meet-and-greet please fill out our pre-adoption questionnaire at acpaw.org.
