Lovely Lolita! Lolita is about 6-7 years old and weighs 17 pounds. She was turned into a high kill shelter by her previous adopter after owning her for 5 years, probably because of her eyesight. Lolita is blind due to Glaucoma. The loss of vision, while unfortunate, does not stop her from being a wonderful and loving companion. She relies on her sense of smell and hearing to navigate. Lolita loves to go for car rides, enjoys walks and especially loves cuddling next to you on the couch. She is house trained and she would be a great companion to a person who is home during the day. She is friendly, playful, affectionate and enjoys playing with a ball. Obviously she will need time to adjust to a new environment, but she gets around quite well and can live normally like any other dog.
If you are interested in fostering, or adopting Lolita please fill out the online adoption application at www.greatpets.org and you will be contacted. If you have questions you can email us at email@example.com. Lolita's $150 adoption donation covers her spay surgery, eye exam, flea treatment, fecal, microchip, vet exam and vaccinations
