My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Fiona is a Lab/Husky mix with one cocked ear and a very gentle manner. We are told she recently had puppies and when kids tried to interrupt her mothering she nipped at them and was therefore thrown away. Arg/Sigh/Ugh! That expression in her eyes says "I am not disposable". Looking for a safe, secure home to really love her. Around 4 years old and 50 pounds. Walks very well on a leash.

An adoption fee may be required which helps cover some of the care and veterinary services provided, including spay for females, neuter for males, vaccinations, de-worming and heartworm testing when age appropriate.

This dog is housed at the Franklin County Small Animal Control shelter. The Humane Society graciously allows the shelter dogs to be posted under their account, but they have no direct knowledge and can answer no questions about the dogs housed there.
