Steak Litter Mom -This poor dog can't catch a break. Her and her pups were living in a high kill shelter for a month. When the pups were about 6 weeks the family came to me. So naturally living in the AC they then had parvo. The pups were very sick and at the time the mom should have stopped nursing. Pup were old enough. Sheikh knew her pups still needed her milk to get well. she nursed the pup with them having teeth. She was bleeding and sore but still let them nurse. Now the pups are all adopted and infact Sheikh was adopted by a sweet young girl. The girl ran into hard times and gave Sheikh back to CHS. So now once again Sheikh needs to find a home. She is super sweet, house train. She is a walkers so yes she does bark and howl, but not 24/7 by any means. she likes to take long naps outside in the sun. A foster favorite. At home she opens up. The adoption fee is $200 and includes spay/neuter and veterinarian health-check, as well as up-to-date vaccinations, deworming, flea preventative, heartworm preventative (as age appropriate) and microchipping. dob 3-24-14. great family dog. sweet, good family dog. does not howl. she was a great mom. her pups were very healthly. This dog can run fast and jumps far. She is beautiful to watch running. looks like a deer running. loves to run but loves to just lay around. best mom ever. Nursed her puppies when pups were sick even though they had teeth. she was the best mom I ever had. Foster don't know why she keeps getting passed up, She needs a home.
