Here's what the humans have to say about me:
“MAVERICK AND MAX” are brothers who have been deeply loved and well cared for all their life. They were from the same litter (10/12/2008) and adopted together, However, their family situation became difficult and abusive, so the family separated and the boys were surrendered to us. Everyone is safe now.
These boys are neutered, strong, sturdy and healthy “Miniature Poodles” who are 15″ tall measuring from the floor to their shoulders.
After careful observations, evaluations and considerations we have decided it would be best if the boys were separated. We know Maverick will not be happy about this decision as he is used to being the boss man over his brother. While these brothers do get along together just fine, Maverick dominates his brother, close to being a bully.
This doesn’t make Maverick a bad Poodle, but the simple fact that Max is who he is and has accepted his position in the pecking order: At the bottom! Thus, Max would be a much better Poodle all by himself.
Max has a very pretty face, is clearly black and weighs in at 18 pounds. This is an easy going, gentle and quiet Miniature Poodle.
Max and his brother came to us very scared and shy. They were both very unsure of themselves, lacked any confidence and did not understand what was going on in their world of confusion.
It will take longer than most Poodles for Max to warm up to our home and all the excitement we have to offer.
So, we have moved Max to a foster home without his brother and as an only Poodle. There we know his social skills will began to appear. We will then post more information about Max.
