My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sunshine is a female Maltese mix approximately 8 months old. She has a straight coat of hair that is predominately white with light tan highlights on her back and ears. Her hair will be white on her back as an inch of new hair is all white. She weighs 10 ½ lbs and may gain a pound or two. Sunshine was given the name as she is a ray of sunshine and happiness. She likes people of all ages as well as other small dogs. She entered a shelter with her mother. Her mother enjoys playing and nurturing her. She is friendly and social, but never overbearing or demanding. Sunshine is very affectionate and loves to be stroked and pampered. Chewing is one of her favorite things so she needs a supply chew toys. She definitely needs help with house training, basic commands and leash walking. An adoptive person with previous experience house training a dog is essential. Sunshine will thrive in a home where she has consistency, lots of gentle love, and where she can enjoy family activities. She is going to make an outstanding choice for a loving pet and companion. Sunshine is ready for her new forever home today!
