Jett's Story...
Estimated DOB: 2/27/16
Jett was born to a mom who lives in the desert. People who work in the area came across the litter of eight in a small arroyo. The puppies were only about 5 weeks old at the time. Our rescue was called.

Jett was originally placed in a foster home with 2 pf his littermates (Brownie and Summer). A family decided that they wanted to adopt both Brownie and Jett. They moved into their pre-adoptive home together. Almost 4 months later the family decide that having two puppies was too hard so they returned Jett to the rescue.

Jett is very shy when he first meets someone, but quickly warms up. He currently lives in a foster home with several other dogs, including his littermate, Elsa. The rest of their litter has been adopted.

He is very playful and smart! He deserves a family who will not give up on him!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jett, a Las Cruces Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Las Cruces, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Las Cruces.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Las Cruces already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Las Cruces breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Las Cruces paves the way for another one to be saved.
