Roo's Info...

Roo's Story...
Wiggle alert!

Roo is a sweetheart! He is dog friendly, healthy, happy, and low maintenance! He was picked up as a stray in Boone County and no one came forward to claim him so he is now looking for his new forever home.

He is a perfect gentleman who is crate (though he doesn't need one) and potty trained, can sit, down, and shake. As typical of the boxer breed he has great play style, loves to fetch and is a good alarm system who will stop the alarm when asked.

Roo loves women but has shown some fear around men when they are towering over him.  He will need a patient owner that is willing to help him overcome this fear.

Roo is up to date on shots, microchipped, and health checked. Do you need a boxer friend in your life?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Roo, a Franklin Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Franklin, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Franklin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Franklin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Franklin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Franklin paves the way for another one to be saved.
