Petey's Info...

Petey's Story...
This beautiful boy found himself on death row in Manning SC. He is a LOVE bug. Everyone who meets him just falls at his feet. He lives other dogs and a small child. Petey was heartworm treated by BTN and is now ready to find his forever home.

From Petey's foster family: He's a darling , never had an accident, doesn't steal things or chew things, good eater, does his business promptly and regularly, great with Bentley and Griffin. We've had very small kids over too who just love him and he's very gentle with them. Other than that tail which is quite a hazard. He is also crate trained and goes right in easily and can go a full 8-9 hour work day if needed (though a lot of days one of us works from home or comes home for lunch). He's good with strange dogs and good on a leash though we have rarely had him out bc of his treatment

His adoption fee is $370

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Petey, a Westminster Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Westminster, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Westminster.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Westminster already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Westminster breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Westminster paves the way for another one to be saved.
