Bernice's Info...

I am already spayed, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, and good with cats.

Bernice's Story...
Let's find this shy, playful, kid a home!!! Bernice is a former abandoned factory kitty and is less than two years old. She is spayed, vaccinated, tested neg/neg for FeLV/FIV and ready to warm up to anyone with lots of love to give her. Her ear is tipped because we had intended on returning her to her colony after TNR/spaying her but she shows potential for being a happy domestic cat. She's so playful and loves loves LOVES the cat dancer toy! She needs the right home with patience and understanding. Don't miss out on being the lucky human to win this kitty kid over!

Contact kittyriottnrandrescue@gmail.com for an application and to meet this lil gem.

From the current temporary foster...
"Bernice needs a home, or foster with windows and romp around room. She is very shy but purrs and allows petting when approached gently. She really wants to trust humans again. If you want a buddy that wants to get to know you slowly and on her terms, Bernice is the one."

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bernice, a Ridgewood Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Ridgewood, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Ridgewood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ridgewood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ridgewood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ridgewood paves the way for another one to be saved.
