Kona is an easygoing girl who's all about doing her person's thing. If you want an adventure, she's your sidekick. And if you'd rather chill on the couch and watch TV, she's your snugglebuddy.
This big-hearted, spunky girl loves following her human friends from room to room, hoping for those belly rubs she loves and rewarding them with copious kisses.
Now in foster care, Kona is a confident girl who walks very well on her leash and leaps for joy when her people mention going for a walk, trotting along with a giant smile on her face. Then back home, she's happy to cuddle on the couch (after asking permission, of course). And she tucks herself under the covers with her people at night.
A polite, sweet girl, Kona understands crate training, but still needs some practice and time to learn to enjoy it. Even so, she seems house trained. She answers to the sit, stay, come and down commands and will shake firmly with both paws.
Kona can be behaved well toward other dogs, but a meet-and-greet is always advised with potential housemates. And she will probably do best in a cat-free home and one with older kids. She can be a fence jumper, especially if she sees a cat on the other side, so should be on a leash outdoors.
Kona is content to be home alone, so she will do well in a family who's members are away at work and school during the day. She'll be ready to welcome everyone who comes home with lots of love and kisses. Come meet this girl!
