My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

We do not have a lot of information on her history, as the person who surrendered her had only had her for about a month and did not get much information from the original owner. She was told that she is 6 years old and our vet concurs, her teeth are good. She weighs 9 pounds, is playful and also a love bug. She loves everyone she meets, gets along well with the dogs in her foster home and is just mildly curious about the resident cat. She is house broken and will do her business on a leash or in a fenced yard. She has even learned about a doggie door at her foster home.

The reason she was surrendered is that she had seizures in her new home and that information was not relayed from the original owner. She  had two very short and mild seizures in her foster home, has been checked over by our vet and all the labs are fine. There seems to be no underlying problem that would cause the seizure. She has been placed on Potassium Bromide, (common med with the least side effects) 125 mg/day. The med run $25-$38(depending on where you purchase it) for 120 day supply.

Vet checks and Home visits are done on all our pups. Due to her size, Lacey will not be placed in a home with a dog over 20 pounds, nor with children under 10 years of age. She has been spayed, up dated on all her immunizations, heart worm negative and started on preventatives for fleas and heart worms.

Her adoption donation is $200, we are a 501(c)(3) so all donations are tax deductible.
