Kurt's Story...
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

This sweet pup was born 1/24/15. The mother is thought to be a Sheppard mix and weighs 65 lbs. We have no idea about the father, as she was abandoned close to term and the puppies were born in rescue. He is very healthy, and is up to date on shots and preventatives. He has been handled a lot, loves to be cuddled, is very playful and is now available for adoption.  A vet reference check and home visit will be done prior to adoption.

His adoption donation is $150, which includes a $50 neuter deposit. We are a 501(c)(3) so all donations are tax deductible. This will be forwarded to the vet of your choice upon receipt of paperwork that the work has been done. The normal contract will include an agreement to have him neutered  when he is old enough, and is not negotiable.

Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kurt, a Crossville Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Crossville, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Crossville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Crossville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Crossville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Crossville paves the way for another one to be saved.
