Thor's Story...
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Thor is a beautiful white Heeler mix whose life was in danger of being dumped or put down. His mother is a pure Breed Heeler. You can see some of his heeler coloring on his ears and torso. He is a very sweet and smart guy. He is UTD on shots and dewormer. He gets along very well with other dogs and cats He would make the perfect addition to any family. Please let it be yours. Thor is better suited for a family that has a big back yard. He is a working dog and requires lots of exercise such as walking, running, hiking and a big area to burn off energy. Thor is NOT suited for apartment living and only tolerates being in a crate over night or for a couple hours a day. Positive training classes are required. Transprt to the north can be arranged.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Thor, a Crossville Cattle Dog/American Bulldog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cattle Dog/American Bulldog for sale in Crossville, or seeking a Cattle Dog/American Bulldog puppy from a breeder in Crossville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Crossville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Crossville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cattle Dog/American Bulldog breeders who help with Cattle Dog/American Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Crossville paves the way for another one to be saved.
