Sophia's Info...

I am already spayed, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Sophia's Story...
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Sophia is a 10 Month old 19 pound, purebred Cocker Spaniel that was abandoned to fend for herself. When she was found she was so badly matted that she had huge dreadlocks hanging from every part of her body. You could not even tell what breed she was, what sex she was, or have any idea of how old she might be. After enduring several sittings with a wonderful and tenacious groomer, along with medicated baths and lots of TLC, Sophia is, once again a beautiful little girl.

She has a sweet and loving personality, she looks right into your eyes as if to thank you for saving her. Sophia is great with other dogs, cats, kids and adults. She is crate trained, rides well in a car, walks on a leash and is learning her house manners. She has been brought up to date on her vaccinations, spayed and is heart worm negative.  She is ready for a home that will value her and love her. She's waiting for you!

Her adoption fee is $200. We are an all volunteer, 501(c)(3) group,  so all funds go right back into the care of these and future wonderful pups.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sophia, a Crossville Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Crossville, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Crossville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Crossville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Crossville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Crossville paves the way for another one to be saved.
