Buffy and her mate were found wondering in Little River Canyon in a North Alabama National forest. After several unsuccessful attempts to find the owners, we happily brought them both into our rescue. Buffy is a sweet girl weighing in at 23 pounds. She is house broke and learning her cues. She loves  to snuggle and be petted. She is crate trained, and rides well in a car. She walks very well on a leash.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buffy, a Crossville Australian Cattle Dog/Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog/Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Crossville, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog/Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Crossville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Crossville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Crossville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog/Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog/Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Crossville paves the way for another one to be saved.
