Max's Story...
Max is a sweet orange tabby that enjoys the company of other cats. He is 3 years old and amazingly handsome! He is cautious around people and will need a quiet household to thrive. This gentle soul had a rough start on the streets in north Philadelphia and was abused by people. He will take his time learning to trust you and may hide for a time but he is worth the wait. Once you are his friend, it's forever. Give this guy a chance. Open your heart to a truly neglected little boy. You will be rewarded with a lifetime of loyalty and love.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Max, a Glen Mills Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Glen Mills, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Glen Mills.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Glen Mills already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Glen Mills breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Glen Mills paves the way for another one to be saved.
