Princess's Story...
Beautiful Princess is looking for her fur-ever family! This precious eight year old Cocker Spaniel was sadly found as a stray and was never re-united with her previous owner, so she is now looking for her new home. Its obvious she hasn't been a stray for long, her fur was in nice condition when she arrived, and she is well socialized! Princess truly lives up to her name and is quite the doll! She hasn't been in our care for very long, but has quickly won the hearts of many of our volunteers with her easy going personality. She has been great with the other dogs in the shelter, and has loved all the visitors- kids included. Princess has been very mellow, and easy going. She enjoys going outside in the yard for fresh air and sunshine, but is quickly ready to come in to relax in her plush dog bed. Princess is up to date on her vaccinations, is microchipped, and will be spayed, once adopted! Stop by to visit with the gorgeous, loving girl today! We are open from 12-6 daily!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Princess, a Benbrook Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Benbrook, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Benbrook.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Benbrook already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Benbrook breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Benbrook paves the way for another one to be saved.
