My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Cindy Lou. I am everything you could want in a dog wrapped up in a cute little body. I’m a very petite girl at around 17lbs. I love everybody and every dog I meet. I’m such a happy girl. I love to play with the other dogs here in my foster home. However, I prefer the ones that are closer to my size as larger dogs are a bit much for me. I can also entertain myself with my toys. I do get a bit possessive of the toys though and try to hoarde them all from the other dogs.

I love to snuggle and sit on foster mom’s lap. Sometimes I startle her and just dive on her lap without any warning. She loves to pet me. She says I have the softest silky fur she has ever seen.

I’m doing really well at house training. I had a few accidents when I first got here but I'm learning to let foster mom know when I need to go out by hitting a bell that is on the door. Plus foster mom has learned to look for signs that I need to go out like when I start pacing and whining.

I stay in a crate when foster mom isn’t home and do just fine there. It just takes a little coaxing to get me in there. I can usually be bribed with a treat. At night I like to snuggle up real tight next to foster mom and I will lie in that same spot all night and I don’t get up until everyone else does.

I walk nice on a leash. I just need to stop and smell everything along the way. I also ride well in the car. I can be pretty vocal when I hear noises and people outside so I would not do well in an apartment. I wouldn't do well with small children because of the possessiveness I have toys.

I would like a home with a fenced yard to run and play in. I love to play fetch although I'm still working on the "give it back" part of it. But boy do I love to chase the ball.
If you think I might be the girl for you please contact MidWest BREW about talking with my foster mom. We can't wait to hear from you.
