My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello there!
My name is Snoopy and I am a very handsome AARB (Amazing Assortment of Retired Beagles) but I don’t think you’d even be able to tell that I’m an aged gentleman of 8 years. Well, only by how hard I nap after playing out in the yard in the morning. After my Foster Parents feed me breakfast in the morning I like to play chase while they get ready for the day. I even like to play tag with the resident beagles here; they’re much younger and I can still keep up! I’d say that’s pretty impressive.
The Mom-lady here took me to the Vet to make sure my health was A-Ok! The Vet said I was in tip top shape. He even said I was healthy enough to get my teeth cleaned so now they’re sparkly white when I smile and I LOVE to smile. When I was at the Vet’s office I got to see a kitty cat. She was very pretty and I sniffed her but decided to let her do her own thing so the Mom-lady thinks I would do okay in a home with a cat.
Some of my favorite things are food. I mean, I’m a beagle, so of course I love food. But I also love a big comfy bed. At this house they like big beds and they cannot lie – They have a dog bed that a German Shepperd would fit in but I happily fit my tiny self right smack in the middle of it. I don’t jump up on the furniture even though they allow that here. I just like the big beds so much. I also like to ride in the car and stick my sniffer out the window. There’s just so many good smells out there. I also like going for walks. I know it means we’re walking when they put my harness on.
One thing that is important to know about me is that my life before coming to this house wasn’t very good. The person that I lived with didn’t treat me very well so I can be a little bit shy; she didn’t feed me. I mean how can you not feed a beagle?! My foster parents are showing me what it’s like to finally be loved and treated like a King. I really enjoy that and am starting to come out of my shell and wiggle my tail more when they call my name. I think it’s time for me to finally live the good life so I can show you what it’s like to have a beagle who truly appreciates what it’s like to have this magical thing I keep hearing about. Do you want to be my “Furever family” or whatever that is? I promise I’ll be the best beagle.
