My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Prince William was abandoned in an apartment, and escaped detection when the cleaning crew locked it up tight and fumigated. When he was discovered, ALF rescued him and hospitalized him immediately. He had suffered Acute Kidney Failure. He received intensive care for 5 days in the hospital, followed by specialized supportive care for the next 6 weeks in foster care. Will has nearly made a complete recovery! He's been spoiled, and treated as the royalty he is, and is now ready for his own castle!

Will is very playful, loving, and craves affection. He's a gentle spirit. He loves people! He's pretty quiet, though he does vocalize, and he loves music! Plays when energized, but not a hyper cat. This Prince is going to be a royal catch!

He's young, only 2. His coat is a gorgeous, rich blue color, medium length, but with a beautiful tail that resembles a huge plume of feathers, which he carries and displays so gracefully, ever the Prince that he is. We think William knows that he's royalty.

He's been neutered, got a dental cleaning, nail trim, and microchip.

Will has a small tear duct that causes occasional tearing, but requires no treatment. He needs to remain on a special kidney diet for life, and will need to see the vet for a renal profile every 6 months. Any future surgical procedures must be done at a full-service clinic, not a low-cost clinic, as Will needs IV fluids before and during the procedure, and close computerized monitoring.

We will be very selective in placing Will in the best home for him. He's been through so much in his short life, and we want to be sure he wants for nothing.
