Yoshi and Sage are best buddies who joined the rescue after their elderly owner had to move to an assisted living facility. These two cuties have spent the last couple months living in one of our wonderful foster homes where they were pampered (and often found playing dress up!) by their 6 year old foster sister.

Both these sweet boys love people of all ages and would be great additions to most loving homes. Though Sage loves is buddy Yoshi, he isn't too fond of living with other dogs so they'll do best as the only pups in their new forever home.

Sage is an approximately 11 year old guy but he's still got plenty of spunk and is really sweet and engaging with everyone he meets. He recently had surgery for bladder stones but has bounced back swimmingly and is otherwise healthy. Yoshi is about 10 years old and is blind though navigates very well and recently had a senior blood panel which came back with flying colors.

Yoshi and Sage are well adjusted boys who are friendly with everyone they meet, enjoy but scratches, snuggling on the couch, and, heck, if you have a fireplace for them to snooze by then bonus!

They're both neutered, vaccinated, heartworm tested, and microchipped. Their adoption fee is $150 for the pair and you can access our survey here:

About One Tail at a Time, NFP

About Our Rescue Group...

One Tail at a Time is a no-kill animal rescue based in the Chicagoland area. Working with a growing community of dedicated volunteers and foster homes, as well as boarding and daycare facilities, we are able to rescue animals from potential euthanasia and help lower overpopulation in area shelters.

We focus on finding permanent homes for our dogs by working to match the lifestyles of potential adopters with each dog's personality and needs. This, combined with our commitment to providing new adopters with education and support for the life of their dog, ensures that more dogs stay in their new homes permanently, reducing the number of pets that are returned to the rescue or shelters each year. All of our dogs are adopted fully vaccinated, heartworm tested, spayed or neutered, and microchipped.
