Meet Missy.. a Puggle (which is a designer breed, a cross between Pug and Beagle). Her estimated date of birth is 3/26/11. She's extremely outgoing and loves to stick by you, even getting underfoot. She wants to stay close to you. She gets along with dogs of all sizes, but can get a little bossy regarding sharing toys she really loves. She has no problem running with big dogs, since she's fostered in a home with pit bulls and enjoys bossing them around. With her bossiness, she would not be ideal in a home with dominant female dogs, unless they're laid back and submissive. She is crate trained and does very well with this. She'd be happiest in a home with another playful dog, and someone who is not away from home for long hours. A fenced in yard for her is ideal, or in a home with older kids who are capable of being careful around her since she has such an adventure spirit and will bolt from a door to start an adventure!

She also attends a therapeutic school for pet therapy and does really well with children of all ages (kindergarten to high school ages).

She is housebroken. She's spayed, up to date on her vaccination, and has a microchip.

Her adoption fee is $250.

If you're interested in adopting her, please go to and fill out our online application.
Missy, Pug has been shared from Shelter Exchange.

About Fur Angels Animal Sanctuary

About Our Rescue Group...

I got involved with rescue work out of love for animals. I had decided to set up my own rescue. I serve mostly deaf animals because they are first to be put down and are usually deemed untrainable, unadoptable and unlovable. I didn't feel this was right or fair.

Our Adoption Process...

We are a small rescue who cares for all our pets in
foster homes. We do NOT have a facility & all animals
are seen by appointment only, after an application has
been approved.
Dogs' adoption fee includes vetting, spaying/neutering, and any health care they may need. For some dogs, the fee may be reduced for reasons that can be made available. Cats' adoption fee include vetting, spaying/neutering, and any health care. All are heartworm negative. We require all possible adopters to fill out an adoption application, and to submit themselves to home visits by staff or volunteers, or by local rescues. Vet reference will be required and will be used. Upon adopting, an adoption contract will be signed. Call me or email to start this process.
