‘Ippy is a 7 – 8 year old Shih Tzu/Poodle X. She is crate and house trained and enjoys a good walk. She won’t go outside by herself, so she’ll need someone that likes to go out with her a few times per day.

She would do best with a mature, single lady that can spend lots of time with her as she does not do well with children nor men. She is okay with other small dogs if they are friendly and does not mind cats, again, if friendly. She is a bit of a toy hoarder, so probably wouldn’t do so well in a home with another toy hoarder dog. She is usually quiet but can be noisy is she wants something.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

'Ippy, a Regina Shih Tzu/Poodle (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu/Poodle (Miniature) for sale in Regina, or seeking a Shih Tzu/Poodle (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Regina.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Regina already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Regina breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu/Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Shih Tzu/Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Regina paves the way for another one to be saved.
