Square Dance's Info...

I am already spayed, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with cats.

Square Dance's Story...
Square Dance is the lucky one. She escaped harm when her other littermates were hit by a car and two of them died. Her brother Flash Dance had an injured back end but recovered.

The two kittens have been living in a foster home to be socialized. Square Dance is now a friendly older kitten (born around June 2015) who rubs on legs and likes to be pet, especially around meal times. Her brother Flash Dance has been adopted - she would do well with another cat to be her pal, or as an only cat. She has not been around dogs but might adjust to one if introduced gradually.

Square Dance tested FeLV/FIV negative and has been spayed, microchipped for identification, and vaccinated against rabies and FVRCP. Her adoption fee is only $60 to approved homes where she will be kept safe indoors. We hold adoption events 2-5pm Saturdays at the College Station Petsmart on University near Hwy 6. Or email us at for an adoption application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Square Dance, a College Station Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in College Station, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in College Station.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in College Station already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a College Station breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in College Station paves the way for another one to be saved.
