Dottie's Story...
Hello Darlings, Dottie here! I'm looking for love but it must be in all the wrong places because I'm still here. Looking for a real dog and not one of these bitty dogs that you could step on? But not a dog big enough to take up half the bed? One that roars authority in looks but begs to sleep on your lap? How about loyalty? I am many, many things even outside my gorgeous looks. Chick magnet? Totally possible when I lay my head on your lap. Believe it or not, I'd make a great apartment dog for even a first time dog owner, that's how laid back I am. And I don't need a lot of fussing with, I just want to please you and show you my love. I have a safe crate I like to sleep and rest in and you'll be really impressed when you walk with me. Give this young gal a piece of your heart. Pick me, pick me.

Dottie is a good-natured, well behaved 'house dog' - she is house trained, crate trained and walks well on a leash.

If you are interested in meeting Dottie or any Poochmatch dog at our weekly adoption event on Saturdays at the Petsmart in Yorba Linda, CA (5521 Mirage St.) between 1-5 PM, please fill out an application from our website, poochmatch.com, and return it via email to poochmatch@hotmail.com no later than 11 AM on Fridays. Due to the high volume of dogs and puppies in our foster homes, it is impossible to bring them all every Saturday. The only way to ensure that the dog that you are interested in will be at the adoption event is to FILL OUT AN APPLICATION. Otherwise, we cannot guarantee that the dog you are interested in will be at our adoption event. If you cannot make the time frame of our events, appointments can be made at another time and location solely at the discretion of the foster parent.

All adoption fees cover the mandatory and non-negotiable spay/neuter, rabies, microchip, necessary vaccinations, fecal testing and deworming. Adoption fees vary solely based on age and size.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dottie, a Santa Ana Staffordshire Bull Terrier/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Staffordshire Bull Terrier/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Santa Ana, or seeking a Staffordshire Bull Terrier/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Santa Ana.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Santa Ana already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Santa Ana breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Staffordshire Bull Terrier/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Staffordshire Bull Terrier/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Santa Ana paves the way for another one to be saved.
