Marco-Adopted!'s Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Marco-Adopted!'s Story...
Marco is an incredibly sweet, gentle fellow. He's crate-trained, knows how to sit, and walks great on a leash. He does well with kids and other dogs, but we're not sure about cats because he hasn't had exposure to them. He's super soft, and with those impressive forehead wrinkles we're guessing he may have some Shar Pei somewhere in his lineage!

Marco's foster mom describes him as a puppy in a full size dog's body! He is a happy, smiley boy! He loves his toys and walks, especially to the Diary Queen where all the kids hug him and the employees spoil him with doggie sundaes! He loves to play and loves attention - but what puppy doesn't? He could spend all day playing in the yard if he was allowed. Marco sleeps through the night and likes to snuggle.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Marco-Adopted!, a Detroit Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Detroit, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Detroit.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Detroit already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Detroit breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Detroit paves the way for another one to be saved.
