Milo's Story...
Milo and his brother Ace are exceptionally beautiful and well socialized boys. They are big guys -- big faces, big frame, very impressive cats! They have been together all their life so we'd like to see them stay together. They are totally unbothered by dogs of any size. They watch them carefully until they get used to them. Then it's business as usual! They also adapt very easily to living with other cats. In fact, they didn't blink an eye when they entered their cat foster home. They adore attention, honestly, they are hungry for it. Purring, rubbing, winding around your legs -- they can't get enough! If you'd like to meet Miio and Ace, please email info@FORrescue.net. We'd love to tell you more about them and arrange a visit. They are located in Huntsville, AL. If you'd like to get a head start, please complete our cat application at www.FORrescue.net. Thank you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Milo, a Homewood Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Homewood, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Homewood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Homewood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Homewood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Homewood paves the way for another one to be saved.
