If you are a fan of scruffy little guys with adorable turned-out tootsies, then look no further because Negan just may be the dog of your dreams! We rescued Negan, a 3-4 year old, 13 pound Dachshund-Terrier mix (best guess!), from a local shelter after he was found as a stray and terrified in the loud shelter environment. We do not know much about poor Negan's life before he came into the shelter, but we do know, that while he clearly had some tough times, he is flourishing in his foster home and gaining confidence daily. An ideal home for Negan would be in a quieter, patient family, willing to help him learn to fully love and trust again. Negan can sometimes be shy around men, but we are confident that with time and reassurance, he will be able to adjust to any situation. Negan does love other dogs and would do wonderful in a home with a companion to help show him the way. Negan is neutered, heartworm negative, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccines.
