Ares's Story...
Ares is a two year old handsome guy who was named after the Greek god of war. Although his name fits his deep red coloring, his personality is the complete opposite. He is so sweet and so willing to please. He is great with commands, and already knows how to sit and stay. He is quiet in the kennel, and is patiently waiting for his forever home. He has showed no signs of aggression towards other dogs while at our facility. He would do best in a home with previous 'bully breed' experience, and a fenced in yard for plenty of exercise.
If you are interested in adopting Ares, or any of his friends, please stop in and fill out an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ares, a Toms River Pit Bull Terrier/Shar Pei dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier/Shar Pei for sale in Toms River, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier/Shar Pei dog from a breeder in Toms River.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Toms River already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Toms River breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier/Shar Pei breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier/Shar Pei rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Toms River paves the way for another one to be saved.
