Dudes is a sweet little guy who is only one year old and weighs ten pounds. He is very playful and full of energy. He can be a little mischievous but he easily takes redirection if he is doing something that needs correction. He loves his toys and running in a fenced yard. Dudes also loves cuddle time with plenty of petting, belly rubs and attention. He is learning leash walking and basic commands but he would benefit from taking puppy obedience classes. He is very eager to learn and loves to please, so he will acquire good doggy manners if he is given the right guidance. Housetraining is a work in progress, and he is consistently getting better, but his adoptive family will have to continue to work with him to so that he is well house trained. Dudes gets along with people as well as with other small dogs. He would love another small playmate or would do well as an only pup. He is content to either share your bed with you or have his doggy bed on the floor next to yours.
Dudes is healthy, neutered, current on vaccinations, is microchipped and is on heartworm and flea/tick preventative. His adoption fee is $370.00 plus $26.92 Minnesota state sales tax for a total of $396.92. His foster parents are willing to drive 150 miles from the Twin Cities to find his perfect forever home. His new adopters are also encouraged to attend the Shih Tzu Rescue Reunion held in September every year.
