Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Kona-Clyde is a Golden Doodle who is about 4 years old.
He is one stunning fellow—a big gangly boy who weighs about 74 pounds. His momma was a beautiful standard poodle and his daddy was a purebred Golden Retriever.
I think Kona-Clyde inherited the best traits of both parents! He was bred to have the affectionate temperament, and disposition, personality, trainability and gentleness of a Golden Retriever, and be as intelligent, loyal, playful, responsive, and social as a standard poodle.
Golden doodles are companion dogs. They love their people and need to live in the house, never outdoors.
He has a beautiful golden – red coat that is curly like a poodle’s, and although I don’t know for sure, he is likely to be good for people with allergies to dogs. The poodle part of him would make him hypoallergenic, but since I am not allergic to dogs, I don’t know for sure!
Kona-Clyde is very well trained – he knows how to sit, lie down, shake hands, and he even plays fetch! He is really a fun, active, playful dog! He is smart, very handsome, funny, gentle, mellow – what more could you ask for?
The Golden doodle is a cross breed known for being affectionate, alert, cheerful, courageous, energetic, and friendly. He is certainly all those things and more!
He is completely beautiful from his reddish-gold color and fluffy soft ears and his top-knot of curls to his funny little “feathered” feet and fluffy tail.
He is also very docile – very, very gentle and well behaved.
He is not the tiniest bit nasty and would be good even with young children. He never needs to be the alpha dog.
Kona-Clyde is house-trained and crate-trained, and gets along great with dogs, cats, and kids.
You couldn’t ask for a more perfect Golden doodle!
He is great in the car and walks perfectly on a leash.
Kona-Clyde is not a barker or a digger, and he comes when he is called. He is very sweet, and he’ll make the perfect family dog.
Of course, Kona-Clyde is neutered and up to date on all of his shots. He is ready for his forever home!
You might even want to take this special and unusual fellow home for a sleepover to see how well he adapts to you, your family, and your other pes. He is a DOLL!
