My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Opie is not quite 2 and is brother to Tricia. With only 3 races, he decided he'd rather be a pet. He is not small dog or cat tolerant.

So yesterday was a really big day for me. I left all of my friends at the kennel and went for ride in a car. I was all by myself with no other greyhounds, I think for the first time in my life.

When I got to the spa, three other greyhounds were just checking in. I was happy to see them. I like to watch what's going on around me and go with the flow.
We were all assigned a person, and waited in line for our baths. The peoples massaged soap into my fur, then rinsed me off. It was awesome. I felt bad for my person. He didn't get nearly as soapy, and didn't get a massage at all.

I had a BIG surprise a little later. My sister, Tricia, came walking out of the boarding facility with her person. I about fell over. I didn't think I'd ever see her again! We hugged and licked, and took a few photos. Tricia was on her way to a foster home. She said I'd get one too, I just had to wait my turn.

I relaxed in my room for the rest of the day, had a delicious dinner with the other guests, and a good nighty-night. I can't wait to see what happens next!

Here I am with Tricia. Note our pretty copper fur hiding underneath our black top coat. We're both treasures. You just have to look beneath the surface.
