Mimi and Didi's Story...

Special - Heartwarming mother/daughter duo

This bonded pair has been under my care. Started out in a shopping center and when construction put them in danger, they relocated to a horse sanctuary. When they finally transitioned to it, the neighboring dog malled the mother. Now all vetted and treated from trauma they are safe inside. They are content inside. They have gotten to totally trust me and are loving. I believe and am hoping they will learn to trust another who can fully devote themselves to this special pair. They need a seasoned cat person that will keep them safely inside and a screened patio would be ideal to safely enjoy nature. They are microchipped also and are in South Florida. Contact Karen at (954) 675-3826 for more information.

Must stay together.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mimi and Didi, a Plantation Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Plantation, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Plantation.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Plantation already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Plantation breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Plantation paves the way for another one to be saved.
