Ivy's Story...
This sweet girl is the last of a litter of 8 that was rescued from a field in the country. At only 5 weeks old they were exposed to the elements and needed help. All pups were girls and all found great homes, but Ivy is still waiting. She is very sweet, VERY smart, curious, affectionate, playful, loves other pets and would make a great addition to the family. Though she is a working breed, Ivy would probably not do well as a working dog. She very much likes to be with her ppl and loud noises do scare her. If interested in meeting Ivy please email us as she is in a foster home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ivy, a Fair Oaks Ranch Blue Heeler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Blue Heeler for sale in Fair Oaks Ranch, or seeking a Blue Heeler dog from a breeder in Fair Oaks Ranch.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fair Oaks Ranch already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fair Oaks Ranch breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Blue Heeler breeders who help with Blue Heeler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fair Oaks Ranch paves the way for another one to be saved.
