Hello, my name is Daya. I joined Ruff Start Rescue from a local shelter.
I joined Ruff Start Rescue, along with my kittens. They are all grown and on to their forever families. Now it is my turn!
I am described as an independent cat, who prefers to just be me. I do not like to be picked up, but I do like attention. I will often times seek out my foster mom for some morning attention.
I would prefer to be an only pet, or at least in a home with no dogs. My foster mom taught me a saying "Dogs drool and cats rule!" and I believe it.
I enjoy toys and other items that I can bat around the floor.
You will often times find me lounging on the back of the couch or somewhere a little quieter.
If you think I might be the girl for you, I'd love to meet you!
If you are interested in me, please fill out an adoption application at www.ruffstartrescue.org. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal. Once we receive your application, a placement coordinator will be in contact with you as soon as possible.
Please check out our website, www.ruffstartrescue.org for more details and additional pictures on any of our animals!
All Ruff Start dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, dewormed, and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm prevention (dogs) as well as heartworm tested (dogs).
Ruff Start Rescue is a foster based rescue. Animals are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a facility where animals are kept.

NOTE: Some shelters have physical locations you can visit; some of these shelters may only have pets for a limited time, so please do not wait for a reply—just go visit the shelter! Other organizations are rescue groups run by busy volunteers who may take a while to reply. You can find information about the shelter or rescue group caring for this pet, and their adoption procedures, on the pet's details page on Adopt-a-Pet.com.
