My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Little Pewsey is approx 3.5 months old and 2.5 lbs at 5/15/16. She is just a tiny pup who we think is a chihuahua mix. She and her three siblings were found in a ditch and taken to a local shelter. This poor little girl's eyes were stuck shut and the vet operated on her so she could see. She just had her check up with our eye vet and he said she looks great and no further issues. She is a lively little girl and just loves to run and play and adores toys - she drags them all into her doggie bed.. She does great with other dogs and would love a buddy to play with. She will need some house and harness training. We need her to be in a household with children over 10 years of age as she is so tiny .. She is just precious and is going to be a great companion for someone

If you live in MA, there are new requirements for rescue dogs - according to the State Law, all rescues have to be quarantined for 48 hrs at the Ben Elder Kennels in Westport, MA. There is additional cost for this quarantine and new required health cert by a licensed MA vet. We will go over all fees with you via email.
