My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This beautiful terrier mix is approx 2 yrs old and 37 lbs. When we rescued her from the shelter she was pregnant and two days later had 5 pups.. They are going to be big pups and all look like lab mixes. She also tested positive for heartworms and after the pups were weaned and she was spayed she was given the required set of injections, she has also been started on a monthly heart worm preventive. She is a very sweet dog, but very shy and timid and her fosters feel that she needs a home with all adults. She still needs some leash training but seems to be quite well house trained. She would do better with an experienced dog owner and is not suitable for an apartment.. She is a very loyal dog and loves to be with her people and will make a wonderful companion

If you live in MA, there are new requirements for rescue dogs - according to the State Law, all rescues have to be quarantined for 48 hrs at the Ben Elder Kennels in Westport, MA. There is additional cost for this quarantine and new required health cert by a licensed MA vet. We will go over all fees with you via email.
