Grover's Story...
Hello! My name is Grover and I am a 3 year old Shih Tzu! A little about me, my first owner was not a fan of me, so I was kept in a basement for 3 years. And, I still love people after that! My foster mom taught me some basic training and manners, then Misfit Angels Rescue sent me to doggy boot camp where I learned how to be the best dog ever! Joey Lukes Dog Training has taught me SO many things, like how loud noises aren't scary, that leash walks are really fun, I am even off leash trained too! I like other dogs, with proper introduction. I am not a fan of cats. I am searching for a strong leader, one that will keep up with my life long, paid for, training with Joey Lukes Dog Training! Is that you? Some of my favorite things are fluffy toys and nylabones. I love to play fetch too! I do like to be with my human, but I have learned that being alone isn't so bad! Want to meet me? Please fill out an application at www.misfitangelsrescue.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Grover, a Eastpointe Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Eastpointe, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Eastpointe.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Eastpointe already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Eastpointe breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Eastpointe paves the way for another one to be saved.
