Carly's Story...
Meet your new snuggle-bug! Carly is a16 pound dachshund mix with reddish brown fur and the prettiest yellow/green eyes you've ever seen. She is only 8 months old and will most likely not grow any bigger. Carly is a perfect little lady with a very sweet, timid personality. She will be more than happy to curl up with you and watch Netflix on a lazy day, but when the toys come out, she’s ready to play, play, play! Other dogs are no problem and she shows no signs of cat aggression. There aren’t any small children in Carly’s foster home but she handles the noise and rowdiness of teen boys with no sign of stress at all. Carly is spayed and current on her shots. She is crate trained, house broken and is learning basic commands. Leash walking is a challenge for her but she is a smart girl and will have that conquered soon! Carly was rescued from Texas and is loving Ohio life! Have your big heart ready and contact DASH Animal Rescue to meet this southern belle sweetie.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Carly, a Ashville Dachshund/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Ashville, or seeking a Dachshund/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Ashville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ashville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ashville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Dachshund/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ashville paves the way for another one to be saved.
