If Leonardo da Vinci were alive today, he would be painting Mona Leesha instead!
Mona is a 7 year old blue and white pitty who is a beautiful example of her breed: enigmatic, priceless, and a true work of art. Through no fault of her own, Mona was surrendered to the shelter when her previous owners were moving and unfortunately could not take her with them.
Mona came in to the shelter with a mass on her leg but it has since been removed and is now healed. Nothing seems to phase this girl! She is as happy as they come! She loves to play but is just as content snuggling as well. She will even roll over for a belly rub! In fact, there's nothing she likes better than smothering you in kisses and letting you know just how much she loves you. Mona knows sit and looks forward to the treat she knows is coming. Since she is treat motivated, she will be easy to teach obedience! She walks beautifully on a leash and would be a great hiking partner.
Mona met several dogs while she was at the shelter and they learned she prefers slow introductions and more mellow dogs like herself. She currently lives with a male pitty and they get along great!
Mona is fully vetted including spay, microchip, vaccines, deworm, 4dx heartworm test (negative), and has been started on monthly heartworm preventative.
